Brightdeck for Claude
Connect Brightdeck to Claude through the Model Context Protocol and generate editable PowerPoint decks straight from Claude Code or Claude Desktop. Ask Claude for a deck, and Brightdeck builds a native .pptx file you can download and refine.
What it is
Decks as a Claude capability.
Brightdeck runs as a hosted MCP server, so Claude can call it as a tool. Once connected, you can ask Claude to generate a new deck, add slides to an existing one, or export a presentation — and Brightdeck returns an editable PowerPoint file with real shapes, charts, tables, and speaker notes.
The same connection works for both Claude Code in your terminal and Claude Desktop, so you can create decks from whichever Claude surface you already use.
Connect Claude.
Claude Code
Add Brightdeck as an HTTP MCP server from your terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http brightdeck https://api.brightdeck.ai/mcp
On first use, Claude opens an OAuth sign-in so you can authorize your Brightdeck account.
Claude Desktop
Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then enter:
- Name: BrightDeck
- URL:
https://api.brightdeck.ai/mcp
Complete the OAuth sign-in to finish connecting.
Ask for a deck
Prompt Claude for the deck you need, then download the generated PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF.
